Convenience, privacy, and amenities are all features of life at Our Lady of Peace. We are conveniently located on Hillsdale Drive near Route 29. Our wooded campus is adjacent to Church of the Incarnation and residential neighborhoods. Peaceful privacy is around every corner. From your own apartment, to one of the lounges, the library, chapel, terrace, or the shady walking paths, finding a quiet retreat is easy to do.
But if it is fun, laugher, and socialization that you crave, we have that too. The social calendar is full of possibilities. Meet friends for a cooking or fitness class, take in a movie in our theater, or get ready for a competitive card game of bridge. The many concerts, dances, cultural excursions, educational programs, and worship services will give you plenty of options to be entertained and engaged. To learn more about what types of programs, events, and activities are offered at Our Lady of Peace, check the Happenings page and see what we are up to next.
In the event of a power outage, the new Generac 600 kW Bi-Fuel generator at Our Lady of Peace will provide electricity to every resident’s apartment and all of the community’s buildings and systems. The new generator far exceeds the regulations and requirements for the State and Federal licensing agencies.
This will allow residents to not only have life safety security, heat, and air conditioning, but also power for everyday activities, such as watching TV or reading a book after dark. Residents, friends and family members can rest assured knowing that quality care and dining services will be provided each and every day at Our Lady of Peace, along with all emergency safety systems.
The generator system is regularly inspected and gas levels checked to ensure that it is in full working order year-round. Regardless of the weather or other circumstances, Our Lady of Peace is prepared to provide uninterrupted care and services to all residents.
